NWOT and RARE J. Crew Metallic Vita Cami (Holiday ’08, Item 10181)

Size 6, Color Silver/Pewter

$30 (original retail $98, currently selling for $45 plus shipping on eBay)

J. Crew’s description:

An Italian import that looks like it was inspired by the nightlife of Capri, this metallic silk cami catches light in an almost fluid way. Delicate pleating down the front and a halter-style semicircle neckline make the proportions perfect. Classic fit. Sleeveless. Side zip. Straight hem. Hits at hip. Import. Dry clean.

Fit is generous through the body but TTS at the hip.  Unless you’re pear-shaped you can safely size down.  I took the tags off this gorgeous cami when I bought it, but the security tag is still sewn in and I’ve never worn it.  (Hormonal impulse buy, what can I say?)

Fit is generous.  Size down.  Worn a few times but well cared-for and in very good condition.

Fit is TTS for a Perfect Fit tank.  I wore this once and hand-laundered it.  Pristine condition.

Not the right piece for the way I dress, as beautiful as it is.  But a really versatile item for the right wardrobe -- e.g., see it here and here on the elegant ABC of A Bigger Closet.

Fit is TTS.  Truly beautiful and well-made.  Notice bra strap snaps, shown in the last photo.  Sorry for the golden light in my pictures that skews the color -- this item is really a gorgeous, warm plum.  Another impulse buy (I've curbed those since!) that doesn’t go with enough in my wardrobe to justify owning it. 

I couldn't find any Polyvore sets with this tank in this color.
