NWT J. Crew Crocodile Jacket (Spring ’09, item 12154)

$90 (original retail $188, currently selling for $159 on eBay)

J. Crew’s description:

A perfectly prim silhouette in refined cotton/linen, updated with a graphic "handpainted" print and ball buttons -- the kind of traditional-meets-modern look that we love. Classic fit. Slight A-line shape. Standing ruffle collar. Three-quarter sleeves. Inverted pleat from shoulder-blade to hem on back.  On-seam pockets. Interior piping. Fully lined in acetate. Hits at hip. Dry clean.

Fit is TTS in the shoulders, very generous through the back because of the inverted pleat.  I am normally an 8 in J. Crew’s blazers and this 6 fits very comfortably.  An impulse buy that sadly doesn't work in my closet.  New with tags and never worn.

This jacket is exactly the same style as the Crocodile Jacket (see above) but made from a slightly stiffer fabric (canvas).  I’ve worn this jacket a few times but have another navy jacket that I prefer.  In pristine condition!
